@AlwaysMyself Not sure I'd call it traditional, but we go out for dinner as a family (My parents, my brother, his wife and their kids) and I usually buy myself a few presents and a cake.

My family also does birthday dinner out since I was a teen and my father's job then was less needing overseas phone call time zones. Because of later night working, as a child we celebrated birthdays before school - so presents and cake for breakfast lol. So I still have birthday cake for breakfast on my birthday as an adult now 😁. I did not realise this was not "normal" for everyone on their birthday until I was in high school!
