Sane Tour De Aus!

@AlwaysMyself

Here is a thread where we can support each other to use our mini cycles.

I plan to watch tv while I do it. I might put some of the big world’s cycling races on the telly on SBS on demand while I do it. I need to decide how often I want to try and use it.

Perfect!

Start small but regular? 5min a night,  or maybe 10min every second night for me maybe. I'll have to look at my schedule and figure out which nights are easiest to do so. And yep find some TV to put on

@AlwaysMyself

Let’s plan to start on Saturday the 2nd.

Maybe every second night for the first week or two.

Re: Sane Tour De Aus!

Deal 😎.

(And not just a deck of cards...)

Re: Sane Tour De Aus!

II recently bought one from an op shop or $8. Factory reset the electronics and put in my (Now deceased) mum's old room

I only manage 2 or 3 minutes. My smartwatch indicates it's not my heart which struggles. I think it's more lungs and muscles

(I'm 45 years old. I smoked age 1991 to 2013 up to 70 a day)

Re: Sane Tour De Aus!

Nice find @DogMan79 ! That's a bargain 🙂

And well done giving up the smokes. I bet that wasn't easy after 22 years?

I can definitely understand that could impact your lungs and cardiovascular exercise. 2-3minutes is still a good thing! And its so important to listen to our own bodies and know our limits 🙂 its ok to have different limits to other people 🙂 i had to learn that as a hard lesson with chronic fatigue - kept trying to 'keep up' with 'normal' people lol - was not wise haha.

Welcome @DogMan79

Just go at your own pace and do what you can!

Re: Sane Tour De Aus!

@AlwaysMyself @Oaktree thanks for this thread friends, I am going to try and get myself one of the mini cycle thingies too, if I do I'd love to join in on the cyclin' fun 🤗

Re: Sane Tour De Aus!

Welcome to the thread @ENKELI

As I say the more the merrier!

I am looking forward to getting back home and getting started.

I am having an amazing time on my trip down South.

Re: Sane Tour De Aus!

@Oaktree so glad to hear you're having a great time down south, sometimes a trip away is the best thing we can do for our mental health.

I think the one thing I miss most about ex friend is our camping trips down south. We went several times and had a great time.

I am waiting to get paid to buy my mini cycle 😊
