just got up from nap @Dreamy  not sure if I feel better for it tho lol. suns actually out. quiet day here. feeling the cold. think go and shift some wood to under tiny porch in hope it drys out real quick lol. woodpile is uncovered, but rained last 2 days so not much,but enough to make wood all wet and presumably wont burn too well, or have to make big bed of coals then put damp wood on with damper open a bit more . Wasteful tho.ie having to increase the draft to burn wet wood lets heat out up the chimney

How has your day been going?

Today we went for a little drive to the North and had some meat pies from a bakery for lunch. I seem to be having a phase of meat pies lately. I had one from a bakery in Guildford last Thursday, then I had one yesterday when I went on an outing to Pinjarra. They claimed to have Australia’s best pie and they had plenty of trophies but I have had better. Then today we had one from Y——-p.
